Job Overview
We are looking for Senior Java Developers across experience levels who are passionate about backend engineering, scalable architectures, and clean, efficient code. This is a remote role ideal for experienced developers as well as fast learners who’ve recently started their Java careers.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop high-performance Java applications and APIs
Maintain and improve existing Java-based systems
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including frontend, DevOps, and QA
Ensure the scalability, reliability, and security of backend systems
Write clean, testable code and participate in code reviews
Mentor junior team members as needed
Participate in Agile/Scrum processes
Conduct project retrospectives and performance reviews
Requirements
Proficiency in Java (Java 8+ preferred)
Strong understanding of Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, JPA/Hibernate
Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.)
Familiarity with CI/CD tools, Git, and unit/integration testing
Knowledge of cloud services (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is a plus
Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred, 0–10 years of experience with strong core Java and backend development skills, Senior candidates must demonstrate leadership and architectural thinking
