Job Overview
We are hiring an experienced AWS Engineer to join our growing cloud team. You’ll be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure using Amazon Web Services (AWS). This is a full-time remote opportunity with a U.S.-based team.
Key Responsibilities
Design and maintain AWS infrastructure including EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, VPC, and IAM
Build scalable, resilient systems with auto-scaling and load balancing
Implement infrastructure as code using tools like CloudFormation or Terraform
Set up CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment
Monitor system performance and resolve production incidents
Ensure best practices for cost optimization and security compliance
Collaborate closely with backend/frontend teams to streamline delivery
Conduct project retrospectives and performance reviews
Requirements
2+ years of hands-on AWS experience
Proficiency in deploying applications in AWS environments
Good understanding of networking, security groups, and IAM policies
Experience with Docker and orchestration tools (ECS, EKS preferred)
Familiarity with Linux, Bash scripting, and version control systems (Git)
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related technical field AWS certification (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect Associate) is a strong plus
